Learn about Talk PANTS with Pantosaurus
Meet Pantosaurus – Your Child’s Safety Superhero!
Pantosaurus is a bright yellow dinosaur created by the NSPCC to help children learn how to stay safe in a simple, age-appropriate way. Through songs, stories, and fun activities, Pantosaurus teaches the PANTS rules—a gentle way to talk about personal boundaries and body safety without using scary or confusing language.
Here’s what PANTS stands for:
-
P – Privates are private: What’s covered by underwear is private and shouldn’t be touched or looked at by others.
-
A – Always remember your body belongs to you: Children have the right to say no to anything that makes them uncomfortable.
-
N – No means no: It’s okay to say no—even to grown-ups.
-
T – Talk about secrets that upset you: Some secrets are bad and should be shared with a trusted adult.
-
S – Speak up – someone can help: If something feels wrong, children should know they can talk to someone they trust.
